According to the air transportation rules, batteries is not allowed.
So Eseye time attendance series devices (include face/finger model) is not sent with the inside battery. The inside battery is for keeping the time running when the device is power off. And the device can run normal without the inside battery.

 

But if with the inside battery, it will be good for no need to reset the time to be correct when the device power up from power off.?It's easy to obtain the battery (Model CR2032) from your local market and install as follow if you want:
